At the occasion of the celebration of the 150 year Jubilee of the Mill Hill Missionary Society on May 21st in KIsumu, Kenya, four missionary candidates made their life commitment to mission as members of the Mill Hill Missionary Society.

On May 1st six new Temporary members took their Temporary Oath in the presence of Fr Bernard Phelan who on behalf of Fr Philip Adede (Regional Superior), received their temporary commitment.
My journey into Mill hill has its origins in the path of life I took and experiences I went through. I was born to the family of Mr and Mrs Mukulu in Nakasongola town, Uganda. I would describe our homestead as traditionally catholic. Attending mass on Sunday was a compulsory part of the family rhythm. My father was a senior civil servant which meant for the Uganda of the seventies a regular move from one town to another due to transfers. But wherever we went we lived a similar rhythm.

The Bishop of Pune, Thomas Dabre will be the main celebrant, with Mill Hill General Councillor, Jimmy Lindero, assisting. During the mass, two of our students, Michael Mandigieri and Yacob Chilka, will take their Perpetual Oath.
